FOR TODAY...
Outside my window... the trees are dancing in the light breeze and the sun is shining, making some gorgeous shadows on my driveway. My almost-broken-down van is right out the window in front of me; not as pretty a sight as the dancing trees.
I am thinking... that I wish my husband would wake up so he could make me my Magic Potion. (coffee.)
I am thankful for... having Lynda as a friend! Not only is she a wonderful person, but she is also a nurse and lets me ask her all sorts of questions when any one of my kids is sick. Thanks, Lynda! (Bell is sick right now, Lynda thinks it's just a virus. I'm sure hoping she's right and it's not an ear infection cuz it's Saturday and i HATE going to Urgent Care.)
From the learning rooms... Ro is learning who to ask for 2 things at once by using 'and'. May not seem like a big deal to you, but for a kiddo with autism, it is!
From the kitchen... we ate Chinese takeout last night. No cooking happening by me here. I may throw some chicken in the crock pot today for dinner later. We shall see.
I am wearing... my big flowy black pj pants, blue fuzzy slippers and my Brazil mission trip t shirt
I am creating... a new bag design for my shop! a sturdy, Medium sized handbag. Pictures to come.
I am going... to stay home today with Bell while my hubby brings 2 of our kids to Grandma's 90th bday party. Bummed I can't go. :/
I am reading... the only book i ever have time to pick up is the Bible. I usually stick in the psalms and proverbs nowadays.
I am hoping... seriously, all I'm thinking about is poor little Bell. She's miserable. Hoping she feels better today.
I am hearing... Ro counting to 17.
Around the house... there's a big mess! Especially the kitchen counters. no time to clean!
One of my favorite things... is apple cinammon cheerios. and going shopping by myself. I know, that's two. Sue me.
A few plans for the rest of the week: My parents and sis B are coming on Sunday overnight! Gosh I love living so close to my family!
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

Yay for winning the giveaway on Suzanne's blog! I pray that the game you won will be a useful tool for Ro! And I'm praying little Bellaroo feels better soon, so mommy can relax and get some peaceful rest. I love you, sister!
Oh! and I saw that Starbucks cup earlier this week too and think it's pretty awesome that such a huge chain is willing to put such a strong Biblical message out there so clearly and openly. Now if only they would stop charging 5 bucks for my favorite yummies!!!
your kitchen counters look sooooo much better than mine! (which I am about to go to work on.) and yay for Rowan counting to 17! and learning to use "and"!
