For today...

FOR TODAY...

Outside my window...  it is a winter wonderland!

I am thinking... that on cold days like this where I can't feel my toes inside my house, I'd like to be here on a nice, temperate summer day. (thanks, Jourdan, for this beautiful photo.)

I am thankful for...  Essential Oils! My kids all had nasty head colds, and once I started using the Essential Oils to help them, they've been feeling better. And I feel better that I'm giving them as little medicine as possible while making their immune systems stronger. We've been giving them a blend called Theives (really cool story behind the name!), Frankincense, Peppermint and Oregano.  Combine those with a humidifier/vaporizer, a little bit of Vicks, and great snuggle time, we've got ourselves some healthy kiddos.

From the learning rooms... Ro is working on generalizing what he's learning in therapy into his normal, every day life with us. Trying to get him to be aware of other people when he is playing rough. Pretty soon, hopefully after the first of the year, we'll start potty training!  Ash still loves pre-school. He learned all of his colors and his vocabulary has grown dramatically. And Bella just likes to play with all of Asher's cars while he's gone.

From the kitchen... gonna make potato soup tonite with Joel. You really can't beat this recipe. If I could find it online, I'd post it. Lets just say, homemade potato soup is RE-Diculously good.

I am wearing...  jeans, my maroon tank with a blue cardy

I am creating... finishing up an order for Etsy, and then gonna start some aprons that someone custom ordered! Retro...gonna be fun! I love me some retro.

I am going... to visit my friends in Fort Mill sometime early 2011. Can't wait. Looking at plane tickets and hoping to save up after Christmas. Boy do  I miss those girls!

I am reading... my new favorite online magazine, Adore. Actually, it's not really reading since I just look at the amazing photos. Go check it out. And if you were wondering my decor style, this is pretty much it.

I am hoping... to be able to start working out soon. When baby H's sleep schedule starts to normalize even just a little, I'm gonna start getting up early and go out to the garage for a 30 min ride on our new recumbant bike (thanks mom!). Really looking forward to dropping this baby weight and getting into shape!

I am hearing... King George and the Ducky. Anyone?

Around the house...  it's a freakin disaster. I never said I was good at keeping a clean house..Just that I really like to have one.

One of my favorite things... is this conversation I had with Bell recently:
Bell: "Mommy. Come here."  (I proceed to sit with her in our "Thinking Chair", as the kids call it.)
Me: "Yes?"
Bell:  "All right. (pat pat). I love you. Ok bye."  (She climbs up and runs off).

A few plans for the rest of the week:  Mother in Law's bday, church Christmas Dinner, Girls' night at Laurens! Gonna be a good week for pictures :)

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
Can you even believe that's the same baby?!

YOU GO GIRL! Hard to make the time for it but you'll feel so good. Afterwards anyways.
