I sure do appreciate the teachers!

So, Tuesday was officially Teacher Appreciation Day, BUT it's never too late to show the teachers in your life how much you value them! They work so hard with very little thanks and not a ton of pay.

Here's our little attempt at thanking them:

Go to that link so that you can print off that cute little bookmark.  All you need is a printer with color ink and some scissors. I printed it out on card stock because it holds it's shape better.  It also comes with that cute label that you see in the picture above.  The bookmark though; That was my favorite part of this little survival kit. I love me a good bookmark and i know that teachers always need them! Much prettier than those little flourescent sticky note thingys.
For our kits, we substituted hand sanitizer instead of the coffee, since we don't have a Starbucks nearby and I know that teachers always need to clean their hands.  I bought every piece of this kit at the Dollar Tree.   I wish someone would write a song dedicated to the Dollar Tree.  Love.

By the way, don't talk to me about not having a Starbucks nearby. I'm too traumatized to get into it.

Go appreciate your teachers!  And come back and tell me about what YOU did for them!

But you have a Tim Hortons, which is even better. I have a Starbucks within 30 minutes, but I grieve my lack of a Tim Horton's on a weekly basis. Sometimes daily. Okay, on a bad day, maybe hourly. Timbits fix everything. ;-) Love!!!!

"Oh, Dollar Tree... Oh, Dollar Tree.... Your prices are extraordinary...." (Sung to the tune of "Oh Christmas Tree.")

Additional note on the beginning of my "Ode to Dollar Tree" song: the word "extraordinary" must be pronounced "ex-trord-ner-eeeeee" for it to work properly. Just thought I ought to clarify. ;-)

"Oh, Dollar Tree.... Oh, Dollar Tree..... You do not make me ornery....."
